Three Steps Every Morning for a Happier and Better Life

You know that working out is good for you, right? Well, mental exercise is EQUALLY important.  Meditation is a mental practice of strengthening your ability to focus in order to reach a higher level of effectiveness and productivity.

Do you sometimes feel stressed, anxious, confused, tired, or just straight up shitty? It is a very common thing and actually has a very easy fix. This is a simple three step exercise to give you a boost in life!

1. Stretch

Stretching is a good way to open up and get the juices flowing in your physiology. It can boost your energy, get the blood flowing, improve your posture, and relieve stress. Just by deliberately stretching your muscles, you are getting some physical exercise, which does wonders for your body and mind!

2. Breath

Breathing is often overlooked and taken for granted, because it is a simple thing that we are doing every second whether we are conscious of it or not. Don’t overthink it. Just breathe and be aware of what is going on in your body and thoughts.

3. Be Aware

This is the easiest thing in the world to do. Just sit there and be aware of what sensations are coming up in your body. Likewise, be aware of any thoughts that come up in your mind. Do not overlook any feelings, thoughts, or sensations, no matter how mundane they may seem. Just be aware.

This is the very basics of meditation, and it has profound implications in your life.
